Virtually all of the items I make are fabricated from wood or wood products, with plastic, metal, glass, acrylic, epoxy and/or wax items attached, coated or embedded.
If you have allergies or sensitivities to any such materials, plusaf recommends that you do not buy, handle or eat these objects.
Many of the items shown here have a shellac, Tung oil, Walnut oil, plastic glitter or other oil or polishing materials applied to their surfaces before or during final finishing.
If you have allergies or sensitivities to any such materials, plusaf recommends that you do not buy, handle or eat these objects.
Some items may be coated with spray lacquer or polyurethane materials or other paints or paint-like materials.
If you have allergies or sensitivities to any such materials, plusaf recommends that you do not buy, handle or eat these objects.
Some items are polished using the Beall polishing system of Tripoli compound, White Diamond compound and Carnauba wax.
If you have allergies or sensitivities to any such materials, plusaf recommends that you do not buy, handle or eat these objects.
Some items are coated with polishes like Hut Crystal Coat or Myland's High Friction Build Polish.
If you have allergies or sensitivities to any such materials, plusaf recommends that you do not buy, handle or eat these objects.
Items may chip, split, break, melt or catch fire if not handled safely and properly.
plusaf suggests that you handle these items carefully so as to not cause them to chip, split, break or catch fire.
Wood items may, if damaged and/or not properly handled, give you splinters (slivers) of wood under your skin. Such splinters can cause pain and possible infection.
plusaf suggests that you handle these items carefully so as to not cause them give you splinters.
Items improperly handled may cause damage to you or nearby people or objects if they are dropped or thrown (either accidentally or on purpose.)
plusaf suggests that you handle these items carefully and do not drop or throw them deliberately or accidentally.
Items, if chewed on by young humans or infants or pets with sharp teeth may create splinters (see above) risks or choking hazard.
plusaf suggests that you do not let infants or pets chew or choke on these products.
Some wood finishes, including oils, varnishes, shellacs and waxes may contain chemicals which have been found by states like California to be hazardous to your health. This means, do not chew on, eat, swallow or throw such objects. Especially in or near California.
Some woods used in my items may cause allergic reactions if handled or otherwise ground up, sanded and ingested or inhaled.
If you are sensitive to such woods or coatings, do not buy, touch, grind, sand, inhale or ingest any part of these items.
Throwing wood objects at glass windows or other fragile objects may cause them to break, creating sharp fragments which can also hurt you.
Please do not throw items at such objects.
The throwing of wood objects against other objects, whether fragile or not, may also cause loud noises which may be injurious to your hearing and/or annoy or endanger people or objects.
Please do not throw items at such objects.
And, of course, all the stuff that always refers to California specifications applies here, even if none of those chemicals listed even come close to my products... who knows? Maybe you'll dip them in something dangerous some day. Not my fault... Your Responsibility. Yay, California!
Proposition 65 Warning:
Proposition 65 is a California law that applies to any product(s) sold in California.
Some products sold on this website contain chemicals known to the state of California to cause cancer and birth defects or other reproductive harm.
A Proposition 65 warning means one of two things: (1) the business has evaluated the exposure and has concluded that it exceeds the "no significant risk level"; or (2) the business has chosen to provide a warning simply based on its knowledge about the presence of a listed chemical without attempting to evaluate the exposure.
I have chosen to copy and post the Rockler Woodworking and Hardware warning based on its knowledge about the presence of one or more listed chemicals without attempting to evaluate the level of exposure. With products on Rockler's website and mine, the exposure may be below the Proposition 65 level of concern, or could even be zero. However, out of an abundance of caution, I have elected to place the Proposition 65 warning notification on my site here, to apply to all products.
