The best description of "my economic, social and political beliefs"
can be seen in this Nolan Chart self-assessment... >>>>>>

No, I'm not a Democrat, Republican, Liberal, or Conservative, either.

Each group has beliefs I can not and do not support.

My beliefs are closest to those of classical Libertarians but I tend to describe myself as a "laissez-faire, free-market, capitalist atheist."

Please don't apply other labels to me without checking this first, ok?

I've concluded that my new 'calling in life' is to be an Observer and a Questioner. Browse my website and note how long I've owned the site, then go to the "previous pix" page to see the range of things I've observed and questioned.

I discovered Socrates' Method of Inquiry a year or two back and have enjoyed applying it to virtually everything that comes by me. The categories on the "Previous" pages are examples of that spectrum.

I haven't had a Presidential candidate I could vote for with a clear conscience in decades and I consider both major parties to be cults of "My View Is Right and Your Views Are The Devil's Own Spawn."

As for the current Election Fun, anyone who asks me what I think about it gets pretty much the same answer: "Every election for the past ten or twenty years has set new records (in my opinion) for being crazier and stupider than the last one, and the current one is breaking all previous records."
I just say that this election is Entertainment, like a Circus, so get your soda and popcorn, sit back and just wait for the next exciting act to appear in the Center Ring.

I consider myself a social liberal but free-market capitalist, so you could guess that Hillary is not a favorite of mine, Bernie scares the crap out of me, and even Donald J. Trump's "economic policies" seem dumber than dirt to me.

I could be a libertarian, but I feel most of them are just centrist Conservatives and base many of their beliefs on God and Religion. I've come to be an atheist. I don't believe any God or god exists, yet I find myself to be as ethical and moral as any Believer (despite their accusations) without any need for a god or bible.

So, that's me, those are my beliefs.
